Being a tour guide is a simple way to share experiences with great people from around the world while also educating them about Belize and our culture. And, you are having a great adventure at the same time!
How long have you worked at Copal Tree team?
I have been working at Copal Tree Lodge since 2009.
Tell us about yourself.
I’m a member of the Garifuna community and was born and raised here in Punta Gorda. I became a licensed general tour guide of Belize in 2010. I enjoy leading adventure and education tours and trips and am glad to be learning more about mechanisms of terrestrial and marine ecology!
When you have spare time, what do you enjoy doing?
I love reading, drawing, riding, visiting family and friends. But I love what I do and want to keep being a tour guide in a place I love, so that more visitors keep coming back to Belize.
What should people know about Belize?
We are a small Central American country with diverse cultures and religions, rich with natural resources.
What is your favorite way to drink Copalli Rum?
I like to sip it neat, or mix it with fresh tropical fruit juice and spice.
