Hot Buttered Rum
Ingredients
- 2 oz Copalli Barrel Rested Rum
- 2 tbs Hot Buttered Rum Batter*
- Add Boiling Water To Top
- Glass: Footed Mug
- Garnish: Freshly Grated Nutmeg, Cinnamon Stick
Directions
Add hot buttered rum to mug, add rum and fill to top with boiling water. Stir to dissolve batter. Garnish.
* Hot buttered rum batter: In a large mixing bowl, add half pound softened butter, half pound brown sugar, half pound white sugar, ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon and ½ teaspoon each ground clove and ground nutmeg. Stir to combine, then add ½ quart of lightly softened vanilla ice cream and stir again. Transfer to a container with a lid, seal and store in the freezer.
